By 2016 all key project participants will be required to have the minimum capability of level 2 BIM compliance in place to work on all UK government procurement projects from 2016 onwards. Response has taken the strategic decision to combine our resources to expand further our 3D design capabilities to ensure that we can achieve level 2 BIM compliance for all projects. The ethos of people, process and enabling technologies is at the core of this way of delivering projects with an ever increasing focus on cost savings, energy savings, carbon savings and time savings. Offsite pre-fabrication and front end modular design form key elements of the project delivery process. Other key benefits to delivering projects in this manner are realised through the improved and controlled flow of all relevant project design information to all stakeholders, thus creating a more accurate and more engaging interaction between all project team members and the client and their representatives.
